“Waynetown News” Mrs. Wm. Philipps died at the family residence on Tuesday night. She was one of the oldest residents of the town. Her husband ran the Philipp’s Inn, a hotel on the road known was the state road when this town was but a village and for a number of years carried the mail from this city before the IB&W Ry was built. Mrs. Philipps had many friends who mourn her death but nature had done its work as she had lived a long and useful life.
